Electric Surron Motor Mount Upgrade our Drift Kart with a more powerful Surron LBX Motor,

Upgrade your drift kart with a more powerful Electric Surron Motor Mount, a widely used and proven motor in high-performance e-bike applications. As a result of this upgrade, you will experience significantly improved thermal efficiency. Consequently, longer drift sessions become possible before the motor requires cooldown time.

To support this upgrade, we designed a custom motor mounting bracket that incorporates an adjustable turnbuckle/tie rod system. This design allows for quick and precise chain tension adjustments. Therefore, maintenance and fine-tuning are both faster and easier.

In addition, we developed a custom offset motor sprocket to improve chain clearance. Unlike a standard Surron sprocket, which positions the teeth in the center for e-bike frames, our sprocket moves the chain outward. As a result, it works perfectly for drift karts where the motor and chain mount on the side of the frame rather than between frame rails.

Moreover, this custom sprocket uses a #35 chain and tooth pitch. Because of this, builders gain access to a wider range of axle sprocket options. This flexibility makes it easier to fine-tune gear ratios based on track layout, driving style, or performance goals.

Important Installation Note

The motor phase wire must be extended to reach the controller, as the factory wire length is only 200 mm.

• Surron LBX: extend blue phase wire to 350 mm

• QSMotor QS165: extend blue phase wire to 350 mm

• Sotion FW01: extend yellow and green phase wires to 400 mm
